Think and walk like an heir of God

I have seen slaves on horseback, while princes go on foot like slaves. (Ecclesiastes 10:7 NIV). ¹⁵ So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” ¹⁶ For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children, ¹⁷ and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. (Romans 8:15-17). But we have the mind of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:16 ESV).
