Husbands, you in turn must treat your wives with tenderness,
viewing them as feminine partners who deserve to be honored, for
they are co-heirs with you of the “divine grace of
life,” so that nothing will hinder your prayers. (1 Peter 3:7
TPT).
In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives.
Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than
you are, but she is your equal partner in God’s gift of new life. Treat her as
you should so your prayers will not be hindered. (NLT).
The same goes for you husbands: Be good husbands to your
wives. Honor them, delight in them. As women they lack some of your advantages.
But in the new life of God’s grace, you’re equals. Treat your wives, then, as
equals so your prayers don’t run aground. (MSG).
Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker
vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers
may not be hindered. (NKJV).
Then Jesus said, "If
you have ears, pay attention." (Mark 4:9 CEV).
