Pray for A United Kingdom

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. 2 Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. (1 Timothy 2:1-2 NLT). Another translation states: 1-3 The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know. Pray especially for rulers and their governments to rule well so we can be quietly about our business of living simply, in humble contemplation. This is the way our Saviour God wants us to live. (The Message Bible).
Let us stand in the gap for our leaders and ask for supernatural wisdom in these unprecedented times. It’s like a repeat of the Brexit debate. Nicola Sturgeon wants to 'Stay Indoors' and Boris Johnson wants us to go out but Stay Alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. (1 Peter 5:8 NLT). Wales is advocating 'Stay At Home'. Some are tired of staying in, others want to go out.
If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. (Mark 3:24 NKJV).
Therefore, let us pray for our leaders to make the right decisions so that we would be able to live tranquil, undisturbed lives, as we worship the awe-inspiring God with pure hearts. (1 Timothy 2:2 TPT).
