Check your ego!

Ego means your idea or opinion of yourself, especially your feeling of your own importance and ability. (cambridgedictionary.com)

Is your ego getting in the way of your promotion?

God wants to use you but your ego is blocking the way.

Everyone proud and arrogant in heart is disgusting, hateful, and exceedingly offensive to the Lord; be assured [I pledge it] they will not go unpunished. (Proverbs 16:5 AMPC).

Pride comes before destruction and an arrogant spirit before a fall. (Proverbs 16:18 CSB).
It is better to be humble in spirit. (Proverbs 16:19 AMP).

That's why I say: "Praise and honour the King who rules from heaven! Everything he does is honest and fair, and he can shatter the power of those who are proud." (Daniel 4:37 CEV).

Put your ego in check.
