Beware of destiny helpers

A destiny helper is anyone that enables you to achieve God’s will and purpose for your life. “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. (Jeremiah 1:5 NLT). You were born because God has something for you to do. As such, the Lord will send destiny helpers to assist you in achieving your earthly objective/assignment.
A mother becomes the first destiny helper as she carries a child for nine months. God will plant someone in your life to take you to the next journey. God will use people to bless you but when He sends someone to bless you it is important that you don’t position the helper as God. Do not lose your focus on God when someone helps you. God wants you to focus on Him and not the man or woman helping you. He is the author and finisher of your faith.

Some focus on their pastor and treat the pastor like a god. The role of the pastor is to signpost you to God. Take your petition directly to your Father - God. This is what the Lord says: “Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the Lord. “But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. (Jeremiah 17:5,7 NLT).

Destiny helpers are seasonal, permanent or some appear as your enemy.
Your parents are seasonal destiny helpers; thereafter a man leaves his home, marries and starts his own family. Destiny helpers could be permanent - a married couple become one and they support each other until death. If married, your spouse is your permanent destiny helper.

Some destiny helpers could be complete strangers. Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers for some who have done this have entertained angels without realising it. (Hebrews 13:2 NLT). 1One day Abraham was sitting at the entrance to his tent during the hottest part of the day. 2He looked up and noticed three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he ran to meet them and welcomed them, bowing low to the ground. 3“My lord,” he said, “if it pleases you, stop here for a while. 4Rest in the shade of this tree while water is brought to wash your feet. 5And since you’ve honoured your servant with this visit, let me prepare some food to refresh you before you continue on your journey.” “All right,” they said. “Do as you have said.”
10Then one of them said, “I will return to you about this time next year, and your wife, Sarah, will have a son!” (Genesis 18:1-5,10 NLT). As a result of Abraham’s hospitality he was blessed with an heir in his old age - Isaac.

Destiny helpers can appear at a low point in your life. Joseph was in prison when he noticed two prisoners with worried faces. 7“Why do you look so worried today?” he asked them. 8And they replied, “We both had dreams last night, but no one can tell us what they mean.” (Genesis 40:7-8 NLT). Despite falsely accused and put in prison, Joseph had a right to be angry, however, he recognised the concern of other prisoners and provided a solution. As a result of this act of empathy, he was released from prison and became prime minister.

Destiny helpers could be your enemy. Judas Iscariot was one of the twelve disciples and his assignment was to betray his boss - Jesus. When Judas had eaten the bread, Satan entered into him. Then Jesus told him, “Hurry and do what you’re going to do.” (John 13:27 NLT).
Likewise, Joseph’s brothers threw him into a pit, but he eventually proceeds to rescue his brothers. You plotted evil against me, but God turned it into good, in order to preserve the lives of many people who are alive today because of what happened. (Genesis 50:20 GNT).

In the time of famine, God sent Elijah to be fed by a poor widow. The widow blessed Elijah and Elijah became a blessing to her.
To wrap up, a destiny helper could be anyone, a complete stranger. You cannot attract into your life what you treat with disdain. How good are your interpersonal relationship skills?
God can send anyone to bless you. This is why the word of God states: love your neighbour as yourself. Be on your guard and show love to others at all times.
My prayer for you today is that you recognise your destiny helpers and they locate you!
May supernatural help be sent from His sanctuary! (Psalms 20:2 TPT).
Amen.
Shalom.
