Dear
friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone
who loves is a child of God and knows God. 8But anyone
who does not love does not know God, for God is love. (1 John 4:7-8 NLT).
In The
Amplified bible:7 Beloved, let us
[unselfishly] love and seek the best for one another, for
love is from God; and everyone who loves [others] is born of God and knows God
[through personal experience]. 8 The one who does
not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him],
for God is love. [He is the originator of love, and it is an enduring attribute
of His nature.]. But
anyone who does not love does not know God.
There
are nine fruits of the Spirit of which the first one is love. (Galatians 5:22).
But
anyone who does not love does not know God.
And
you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your
soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’ 31 The second is equally important: ‘Love your
neighbour as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.” (Mark
12:30-31 NLT).
Love God
and love your neighbour as yourself!
But anyone
who does not love does not know God.
The three most
important things to have are faith, hope and love. But the greatest of them is
love.
But
anyone who does not love does not know God. (1 Corinthians 13:13 NIRV).
To wrap up, owe no one anything except to love one another,
for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. (Romans
13:8 NKJV).
