Treasures In The Darkness - T.D. Jakes

God said: I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places,
That you may know that I, the Lord, who call you by your name, am the God of Israel. (Isaiah 45.3 NKJV).

Are you carrying a heavy burden?

Jesus said: ²⁸ “Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. ²⁹ Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me. ³⁰ For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.” (Matthew 11:28-30 The Passion Translation).

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. (1 Peter 5:7 NLT).

Ready To Rise - Joel Osteen

When you pass through a difficult season, you have to remember that's not your final destination. The time is coming for you to rise again. You haven't seen, heard or imagined where God is about to take you.

Don't act the goat

Where are you spiritually - where were you pre-Covid-19 and where are you now?

We continually thank God for divine protection, but have you grown spiritually, how many times have you read the bible during the lockdown period?

The lockdown was an opportunity to put your house in order. Move your heart closer and closer to God, and he will come even closer to you. But make sure you cleanse your life. (James 4:8 TPT).

During these unprecedented times, the only antidote available is the word of God. We must read it, study it, meditate on it and pray. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. (Joshua 1: NKJV). Another translation states: Study this Book of Instruction continually. (NLT). Therefore keep the words of this covenant, and do them, that you may prosper in all that you do. (Deuteronomy 29:9 NKJV).

Jesus said: My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. (James 10:27 NLT). There was a severe famine in the land and Isaac moved to Gerar. The Lord appeared to Isaac and said, “Do not go down to Egypt, but do as I tell you. Live here as a foreigner in this land, and I will be with you and bless you. (Genesis 26:1-3).

Isaac heard God’s voice, obeyed and became a multi-millionaire: Isaac planted crops in that land and took in a huge harvest. God blessed him. The man got richer and richer by the day until he was very wealthy. (Genesis 26: 12-13 MSG). Remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth. (Deuteronomy 8:18 NKJV). Can you hear the Lord’s voice at this particular time of your life?

Now is not the time to analyse things from a worldly, earthly soulish perspective. You have to be led by the Holy Spirit (aka The Counsellor) - He will lead you into all truths. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. There is a fine line between your spirit and your soul. Many of you are being led by your soul. Hence you need to stay in the word of God as it will enable you to differentiate between whether you are hearing from God or your carnal soul- For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit. (Hebrews 4:12).

This book of instruction must not depart from your mouth; you are to meditate on it day and night so that you may carefully observe everything written in it. For then you will prosper and succeed in whatever you do. (Joshua 1:8 CSB). Jesus said: My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. Don’t act the goat.

Are you a Spiritual Adulterer?

4 You have become spiritual adulterers who are having an affair, an unholy relationship with the world. Don’t you know that flirting with the world’s values places you at odds with God? Whoever chooses to be the world’s friend makes himself God’s enemy!

⁵ Does the Scripture mean nothing to you that says, “The Spirit that God breathed into our hearts is a jealous Lover who intensely desires to have more and more of us”?

⁸ Move your heart closer and closer to God, and he will come even closer to you. But make sure you cleanse your life. (James 4:4-5, 8 The Passion Translation).

Jesus said: “Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand.” (Mark 4:9 NLT).

Spirit, Soul & Body Illustration

Watch the clip below first: https://spiceysoup.blogspot.com/2020/05/what-is-difference-between-your-soul.html. Thereafter, watch this 7 mins and 53 seconds clip: Spirit, soul & body illustrated.
The spirit, soul and body teaching is the most powerful revelation you will ever get and it WILL transform your Christian life.

What is the difference between your SOUL and SPIRIT?

This video explains the difference between your body, soul and spirit, and how to walk through the Spirit. Sadly, there are not a lot of preachers who preach about this.

This is easily one of the best teachings on spirit, soul and body. If you can get the revelation in this 11 minutes and 54 seconds video it will change your Christian life for good. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God's children, and if children, then heirs- heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ (Romans 8:14,16-17 NLT & NKJV). Man is a spirit, that has a soul that lives in a body. You are a spirit being that has a soul that lives in a body. Your understanding of spirit, soul and body WILL transform your Christian life. I pray this video blesses you!
