You mean like superman kind of mighty power?

What power?

You have heard 2 Timothy 1:7 quite a bit over the last few weeks:
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Soothing words.

But many seem to meditate on only the spirit of fear part and not the power part of the scripture which is the absolute game changer for such a time as this.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of POWER....

What is this power?

The Passion Translation states:  For God will never give you the spirit of fear, but the Holy Spirit who gives you mighty power..

What is this mighty power that you have?

Mission Impossible
Your mission, should you choose to accept it.

We want you to go your local shopping store where you will meet a man wearing a yellow cap in front of the queue (at a social distance).

The man says: these are unprecedented times. My family and I are living in fear.

You say: No need to fear, for God will never give you the spirit of fear, but the Holy Spirit who gives you mighty power.

The man says: Tell me more about this mighty power from the Holy Spirit you mean like Superman kind of mighty power…?

You say: ?

If you feel that you cannot satisfactory explain and demonstrate this mighty power to the man the mission will be classified as incomplete.  Please forward the assignment to another agent (oops!) I mean another believing disciple…

Your immediate mission is to read, study and meditate on Ephesians 1:19-20: I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power  that raised Christ from the dead (NLT).

I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith. Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you! This is the mighty power  that was released when God raised Christ from the dead.. (The Passion Translation).

God bless you!
Amen!

Loose Lips Sink Ships

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit (Proverbs 18:21 NKJV).

Your words are so powerful that they will kill or give life, and the talkative person will reap the consequences (Proverbs 18:21 The Passion Translation).

Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit—you choose (Proverbs 18:21 The Message Bible).

Words can bring death or life! Talk too much, and you will eat everything you say (Proverbs 18:21 Contemporary English Version).

For such a time as this. Guard your mouth! Guard your speech!

Loose Lips Sink Ships!

A word is enough for the wise.

God bless you!

Whilst on lock down - Put your house in order!

The world is fighting an invisible plague that is savaging the earth.
The timing is incredible.
This cannot be a coincidence.

8th April 2020 to 16th April 2020 (Passover week): “On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn of both people and animals, and I will bring judgement on all the gods of Egypt. I am the Lord.
The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt.
“This is a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the Lord—a lasting ordinance (Exodus 12:12-14 NIV).

Friday, 9th April 2020: The crucifixion of Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Sunday 11th April 2020: The resurrection of Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

That we are in a pandemic yet to reach its peak during the Passover-Easter period is not a coincidence. No way!

We are living in unprecedented times. This is biblical!

If there is ever a time to pray in the Spirit it is now (Ephesians 6:18).
Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man (Luke 21:36 NLT).

Whilst on lock down- put your house in order!

Or didn’t you realize that your body is a sacred place, the place of the Holy Spirit? Don’t you see that you can’t live however you please, squandering what God paid such a high price for? The physical part of you is not some piece of property belonging to the spiritual part of you. God owns the whole works. So let people see God in and through your body. (1 Corinthians 6:19 The Message (MSG))

Whilst on lock down- read, study and meditate on the word of God.

Thereafter, pray in the Spirit!

God bless you!

Amen!

Why was man created?

On the sixth day, God makes man. And the reason why God created man is clearly stated: 26 Then God said, “Let Us (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) make man in Our image, according to Our likeness [not physical, but a spiritual personality and moral likeness];
28 And God blessed them [granting them certain authority] and said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subjugate it [putting it under your power]; and rule over (dominate) … (Genesis 1: 26,28 The Amplified Bible).

The bible states: on the seventh day God had finished his work of creation, so he rested from all his work (Genesis 2:2 NLT). Job done - I’ve left my Spirit in man to take charge hereafter.
God is a Spirit and He made man in His image and likeness. God made a spiritual manifestation of Himself from the earthly realm. An earthly being called man that had God’s spiritual personality and moral likeness. Most importantly, God’s instructions to man was clear:
“Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subjugate it [putting it under your power]; and rule over (dominate) (AMP).
“Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion (NKJV).
“Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it (NLT).

Not only were the instructions clear. It was an order! It was a commandment. An executive order from God Almighty, The Lord of Hosts, The Lord of Heaven’s Armies.  Man is to subdue the earth and govern it. God had given man his Spirit to enable him to be fruitful in executing the order.

God delegated authority over the earth to man. Man was to rule, make decrees and pass laws. Man (aka Adam) was given the keys to the earthly kingdom.
God took the Man and set him down in the Garden of Eden to work the ground and keep it in order (Genesis 2: 15 MSG).
The Psalmist wrote: You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things under their authority (Psalms 8:6 NLT).
The heavens belong to our God; they are his alone, but he has given us the earth and put us in charge (Psalms 115:16 TPT).

God and Adam were in complete spiritual harmony; God created all the wild animals and gave them to Adam to name. As such, the spiritual connection between God and Adam was in perfect symphony. God then creates a helpmate for Adam and the earth has its first couple - Adam and Eve Earth.

Unfortunately, Adam and Eve blow the greatest deal on the planet! The serpent successfully deceives Eve to doubt the word of God. Adam and Eve disobeyed the word of God. Thereafter, the spiritual connection between God and man is severed. The outcome of the spiritual attack is that they concede power over to Satan. Man lost his authority to govern and the devil becomes the new ruler of the world. Although, God and man were spiritually disconnected, God commences a plan for man to be redeemed from sin.

Heirs! Jesus Christ got our mandate back. Our authority to rule on earth has been restored.  The onus is now on us, the church, YOU to make spiritual decisions, laws here on earth. You Have The Keys!
You have got to get this!! Please read the short post: The Believer’s Authority by Bob Yandian.

Why was man created?

Then God blessed them and said:
“Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion (NKJV).
“Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subjugate it [putting it under your power]; and rule over (dominate) (AMP).
“Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge! (MSG).
“Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it (NLT). (Genesis 1:28).

Take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God

"He himself bore our sins" in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; "by his wounds you have been healed." (1 Peter 2:24 NIV).

For Such A Time As This

Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches (Revelations 3:6 NLT)
For such a time as this- what is He saying to YOU?
